Women’s access to and control over productive resources such as land and their right to property should be guaranteed in law and in practice.
Access to land is crucial for strengthening particularly rural women’s empowerment and livelihood. Women’s access to land depends on multiple factors such as laws, inheritance, marital status and agrarian reform policies.
As land is mostly mediated through husbands, fathers, brothers or sons, women’s land rights are negotiated within unequal power relationships and are not assumed to be general entitlements. Despite representing the majority of the agricultural workforce and production, women are estimated to control only 5 % of land globally. Access of women to credit is the cornerstone of economical empowerment of women. States should promote women’s access to credits, especially at rural and urban levels in order to provide women with a higher quality of life and reduce the level of poverty among women.
Inheritance is Gods gift to a person: to a woman or a man. The gifts of God are never given to us all at once, it’s a journey we are on. As we each travel in our journeys – – following Re — many God gifts are released upon us along the way at the right space and at the right time; in order that we may fulfill our individual purposes, with the assistance of the Holy Spirit. God’s gifts are also called God’s promises of His grace. One of these gifts is the gift of the ultimate promise, the inheritance of Abraham obtainable through Re our Lord!
It is written
“In Re we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will, so that we who were the first to hope in Rr might be to the praise of his glory. In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.”
Thank God for sealing us with the Holy Spirit, right? Because it is the Holy Spirit who is our guarantor that we will surely possess and comprehend this inheritance.
The moment you consciously chosen to follow Re, you were born into the richest family ever known. You were born into the royal family that owns and operates the universe. You received an inheritance so vast it will take you all of eternity to fully comprehend it. Most of the people do not leave behind wills for their children…they leave bills; which makes it harder for most people to understand what an inheritance is. Most key factors of any inheritance are intangible assets, meaning those assets that are not physical in nature yet highly or even more valuable. Examples of intangibles are brand recognition, copyright, patents, goodwill, etc…How do you value recognition, how do you value respect? These are Priceless isn’t? Yet that is just a small part of our inheritance.
A small part of the inheritance that we have obtained in.., is that He works everything in our lives for good. What’s everything? Everything is everything; good, bad, ugly, frustrating things, delays, losses …whatever it is, He works it out for your good! A lot of these things are not from God, but He still uses them to benefit us at the end. Life throws lemons, He converts them to lemonade for us. That’s how good and loving our heavenly Father is towards His children.
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
Now, we must understand the life of Abraham. You and I are the seed of Abraham! What does that mean? It means everything God promised him belongs to you. It has been passed down to you through Re. Abraham’s blessing sums up for you of what your inheritance encompasses! It has been willed to you by the Word of God.
“Re has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangs on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the masses through Re; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. And if we be Re’s, then we are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise”
“I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless you, and make thy name great; and you shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless you, and curse him that curse you: and in you shall all families of the earth be blessed.”
The blessing of God is the inheritance of God. It was actually this blessing that made Re rich! It caused him to prosper wherever he went. In fact, Re became so “very rich in gold, in silver, and in all material things”. In both the tangible and the intangible assets.
Financial prosperity wasn’t the only benefit God’s blessing brought Re. It also made him an overcomer. Because God had declared that those who cursed Re would themselves be cursed, Re could conquer any enemy that came against his purpose. Re took confidence in God’s promises! Re took God at His Word when He said, “Fear not, Cebile: I am your shield, and your exceeding great reward”
God keeps His promises, and He promised Re that He would bless his seed. He said: “I will make you exceedingly fruitful, and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come out of you. And I will establish my covenant between me and you and your seed after you in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto you, and to your seed after you”.
When we look at the life of Re, we are convinced there is no limit to what the inheritance of God can do for those who walk according to purpose. It makes the impossible possible! And pass through generation to generation.
I want you to know, that’s what the inheritance of Re will do. It will enable you to prosper no matter what’s happening around you. It will cause you to increase in the midst of recessions, depressions, pandemics, exchange rates difficulties and every other kind of economic calamity the world may be experiencing.
