Lady Sea Swirl
4th of January 2015: “Lady Swirl” was brought to submission by grace in love to Re, the Beacon Of Light. Now, the people of the region can participate in global trade, create trade routes and control trade routes. Sea Swirl, Mother of The Seas, Mother Of Rivers and Canals opens up the seas for the region to participate in international trade, the import and export of goods and services across international boundaries. Year 1 or 2021 till forever, She is well active to oversee justice, deliver judgement globally for the poverty that was constructed by global trade exclusion of Africa, due to greed and human trespasses inflicted on all feminine countries and continents.
She is an ancient spiritual goddess also called #seaswirl, water return
Africa has experienced negative trade balance in past years, 2021 our year 1 Lady Sea Swirl plan to change all that. The movement of goods, services, finance, and human resources across national borders has been driving socioeconomic and political globalization, especially in the past six decades. Goods and services that enter into a country for sale are called imports. Goods and services that leave a country for sale in another country are called exports. For example, a country may import wheat because it doesn’t have much arable land, but export oil because it has oil in abundance.
A fundamental concept underlying global trade is the concept of comparative advantage. In a nutshell, the doctrine of comparative advantage states that a country can produce some goods or services more cheaply than other countries. In technical terms, the country is able to produce a specific good or service at a lower opportunity cost than others.
The World Trade Organization (WTO) is the only global international organization dealing with the rules of trade between nations. At its heart are the WTO agreements, negotiated and signed by the bulk of the world’s trading nations and ratified in their parliaments. The goal is to ensure that trade flows as smoothly, predictably and freely as possible.
The World Trade Organization (WTO) appointed a new WTO Director-General: Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala became the seventh Director-General of the WTO. She took office on 1 March 2021, becoming the first woman and the first African to serve as Director-General. Her term of office will expire on 31 August 2025. She is a firm believer in the power of trade to lift developing countries out of poverty and assist them to achieve robust economic growth and sustainable development. As Finance Minister, she was involved in trade negotiations with other West African countries and contributed to the overhaul of Nigeria’s trade policy enabling it to enhance its competitiveness. She has closely followed developments at the WTO, as she believes that a strengthened multilateral trading system is in the interests of all countries, particularly least developed and African countries.
The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) is Africa’s new free trade area is a global game changer; AfCFTA, the largest global free trade area by countries participating, could transform the continent’s economic prospects. Launched on 1 January 2021. Currently, Africa accounts for just 2% of global trade. And only 17% of African exports are intra-continental, compared with 59% for Asia and 68% for Europe. The potential for transformation across Africa is therefore significant. This week we saw how the giant ship blocking Suez canal impact on revenues and global trade. According to the African Development Bank, Africa’s infrastructure needs are substantial at $130-170 billion a year, with a financing gap between $68-108 billion, driving most countries’ trade outward rather than inward. The pact will create the largest free trade area in the world measured by the number of countries participating. Connecting 1.3 billion people across 55 countries with a combined gross domestic product (GDP) valued at $3.4 trillion, the pact comes at a time when much of the world is turning away from cooperation and free trade. The agreement aims to reduce all trade costs and enable Africa to integrate further into global supply chains – it will eliminate 90% of tariffs, focus on outstanding non-tariff barriers, and create a single market with free movement of goods and services. Cutting red tape and simplifying customs procedures will bring significant income gains. Beyond trade, the pact also addresses the movement of persons and labour, competition, investment and intellectual property.
The AfCFTA will significantly reduce poverty and hopes to increase Trade integrity in the region and globally by placing it at the centre-stage. The AfCFTA offers an opportunity to promote good governance both globally and across Africa, through the concept of “Trade Integrity” – defined as international trade transactions that are legitimate, transparent and properly priced – as a way to ensure the legitimacy the global trading system. The prevalence of illegally-procured or produced goods (for example, illegal mining or fishing, or goods resulting from child or forced labor), misinvoiced trade transactions (i.e. trade fraud) and opacity in most free trade zones strips governments of revenues – needed now more than ever before to assist with the pandemic response, undermines fair labor standards and human rights, and obfuscates who is involved in trade transactions and what goods are being traded, which can facilitate transnational crime.
